I'm Big Nina Craze,
a 27-year-old who faced immense challenges growing up on the tough streets of Avalon and 95th in LA. The only girl among three brothers, my parents' struggle with drugs led to foster care. Though my mother got clean and regained custody, tragedy struck with my brother's murder, and later, my mother's cancer diagnosis. I faced abuse from my second brother, leading me to foster care again.
Raised on the streets, I turned to gang life to cope. At 16, my mother passed away, and my father deepened his involvement in drugs. Determined to break free, I chose to turn my life around. Today, as a successful hairstylist, I use my experiences to help others facing similar struggles. I'm a survivor committed to shaping my future, no matter the obstacles.
